The beauty of landscape photography
I photograph landscapes and cities to capture what it feels like to be there — the atmosphere, emotion, and quiet energy of each place.
"Hidden Basin". Cascade du Dard, Vaud, CH 2026. After a 2.5 hours drive from Geneva - I have discovered this beautiful waterfall - the Cascade du Dard close to Vallorbe and it is well worth the little hike.
"The smile". Gunten, Sigriswil, Bern 2026. It was a long and solid day of snow, rain and wind - but today this magical view appeared and with a smile I took this shot. This is what it is all about.
"Rush of Energy" - La Tine de Conflens, 2026. The Tine de Conflens is an impressive waterfall, where the Venoge and the Veyron meet in a magnificent place of rocks. Is a bit of a hike but easy one, but is slippery when is wet.
Flakstayoa, Lofoten, Norway 2026. I stepped out of the car instantly drawn to this beautiful scenery dominated by the 3 prominent rocks in gushing water and framed by the beautiful mountain in the background. Knowing the sandy beach would soon fill with footprints, I hurried to capture the scene before the moment changed. This photograph preserves that brief, untouched memory and standing there, my love for landscape photography grew instantly.
Svolvaer, Lofoten, Norway 2026. This picture was taken in a bit of a rush as we were not allowed to stop; so instead we were walking on the side of a snowy road. It was very cold but the scene and the light were good.
Kabelvag, Lofoten, Norway 2026. After 3 days “hunting” tonight in freezing temperatures, we have witness nature at its best. Here you go the Aurora!
Hamnoy, Lofoten Island, Norway. 2026. This is a very popular photo point and the photo was taken on a long bridge with a little walking way. At time you would have 30 to 50 people taking pictures - dangerous with cars driving fast - and difficult to capture as it was windy and cold - while balancing your tripod and camera from preventing falling in the sjord.
Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. Fredericton, New Brunswick, CA. 2025. Is a iconic, repurposed railway bridge spanning the Saint John River, connecting the city’s extensive walking trail system. Originally built in the late 1880s as a rail crossing, it now serves as a key pedestrian and cycling link, named after a local trail. This phot was taken on the side and muddy part of the bridge.
"Misty Morning" Yverdon-les-Bains, Canton Vaud, CH 2025. Early morning 1.5 ride from Geneva. It was a rainy and very windy morning and without any light. So this very long exposure in black and white is what I came up with. Minimal photography.
"My Tree", Wanaka, New Zealand 2025. That Wānaka Tree, or That Wānaka Willow, is the nickname of a willow tree located at the southern end of Lake Wānaka in the Otago region of New Zealand. The tree grows alone in the water and is a popular destination for tourists. It has been my dream to photograph this tree for years and finally!
Geneva
"Silence of the Duck", Bains des Paquis, Geneva, CH 2023. This place is very famous in Geneva and frequently visited by the locals. The majestic light house has attracted me for years and the very early morning brings silence and peace.
